After my 7 hours of playtime, I decided to update my review by rewriting most of it.

TL; DR at the bottom.

First of all, I picked up this game because it is not horror. If you are expecting the game to be creepy and give off a horror vibe, then this game is not for you. Judging from watching the trailer, which is pretty much clear. I have always been wanting to try a game that involves ghosts or supernatural beings, but most of them ended up being a horror, which I hate mainly because of jump scares.

About the story, I believe I have not yet advanced that far in the story so I would rather not judge much about this. All I could say was the story starts off quickly, with neither good nor bad meaning. The cinematic looks good though.

Next, the combat mechanics resembles a first-person shooter-style with special skills and gears, skills upgrading mechanic included. The overall combat mechanics are fresh and new to me. The combat may seem not complex, but from my playing experience, good timing and shots accuracy are what you need in this game, which is what made this game somewhat more challenging.

The graphics are pretty much detailed. Walking around the city looking at things is quite a good experience for me. You can even read texts on almost every billboard. With Ray Tracing on, reflections on water puddles and wet floors look surprisingly stunning. Only graphics drawbacks are a-bit-ugly raindrops, blurry mirror reflection, and no self-reflection.

The performance is kind of good. With medium Ray Tracing and balanced DLSS settings, the game is able is perform at around 90-130 FPS with my RTX 3070 Ti on a 2k monitor.

One of the downsides of the game I have experienced is the lack of soundtracks. Most of the time, there is just no BGM. Everything is quiet during exploration. BGM only plays during combat as far as I remember, they are not my type, but they really fit the game. Another downside is that I feel minor dizziness when I do at 30-minute of playtime. This is rare for me, but I would like to note this in my review just in case.

Lastly, you can pet and feed dogs in the game. It seems like you can also pet cats in the game, I have tried it, but the actions do not really look like petting. My only complaints are that the dog model quality is not as high as I expected and I wish for more dog breeds other than different colors of Shiba.

TL; DR: I like it because the game is not horror and contains no jump scares. FPS-style combat with special skills. Detailed graphics, just a few flaws. Good performance. Lacks BGM. May experience minor dizziness. Can pet dogs.

I am quite a picky gamer as I do not play that many games. This game gave me a really good first impression. If you feel like the vibe or theme of the game seems interesting, you do not hate the combat mechanics when you look at it, and you at least have a decent PC to experience the graphics, then I recommend this game. The place is set in Tokyo, so people who like Japan are even more likely to find a liking to it.

That is all from me, hope you enjoy the game!

First off, the combat mechanics are quick, fun, and responsive. With the variety of characters, you can experience the diversity of amazing combat skills. I recommend using a controller to get the best experience. You can also customize the characters' outfits and accessories, which is pretty cool.

This game also does not require a powerful PC, you can already enjoy the game with lower-than-average PC specifications at 60 FPS.

About the downsides, the overall system seems too repetitive. There are actually no other combat mechanics besides 1v1 battles, so it is very likely that you can get bored after a few hours. You also cannot run the game over 60 FPS, which is kind of disappointing.

Next, there is still one unfixed major issue about the game. If your PC happened to use Intel 11th gen CPU, you would probably be experiencing the issue of the game not starting. As of the time I am rewriting this review, there are no official fixes from the developers, but there is a fix found by the community on 22nd August 2021, which you can find in the discussion section.

This truly shows the ignorance of the developers. They did not even address the problem or showed an effort to try to fix it. I was not able to play the game since I upgraded my PC for around 4 months. Steam would not let me refund the game either, so I gave up on this game. I have just found out about the community solution right now, so I am rewriting this review.

To summarize, this is overall a good game, I recommend this game to people who love the anime and the characters. If you do not care about experiencing the story that much, let alone the first game, just buy this one, it is pretty much an upgraded copy. You can just experience the story by watching the anime. Purchasing the game at a discounted price is also recommended as I personally do not find the content to be worth the full price.

All that being said, I am still downvoting this because of the ignorance of the developers and I doubt if I will be buying any more games from this developer or this publisher.

If you're looking for a non-bland rhythm game, this is a must-try. Vibrant colors, exciting music, unusual music notes, and horizontal gameplay, are what made Muse Dash a unique rhythm game.

From my 15 hours of playing, Muse Dash is quite easy to get a grasp since it only has 2 lines of notes, but quite difficult to master, especially the speed and patterns in higher difficulties. There are up to 3 difficulties in a single song, which leaves you no worries of not being able to complete your favorite song.

It might take quite a time to get used to the game due to its unusual music notes and horizontal gameplay. Also, high refresh rate monitors (120Hz+) are recommended.

For the cons, the game has specific characters and elfins (a creature floating next to the character) which can help boost your score. Simply, the score isn't solely based on your ability, but also the character and elfin selection, which is the feature I quite dislike.

I also hope for the game to make more use of the Steam features not just putting the game up in the store, for example, Steam achievements, collectible cards, and ranking between friends.

Overall, Muse Dash is really an exciting game with many pros and a cheap price that anyone can try. If you really love the game, there is a DLC for you to pick up, which helps you level up faster, unlocks tons of more songs, and a few characters.

When compared to Rayman Legends, this one seems to be more difficult. Somewhat a bit boring due to its difficulty and mechanics. If you don't care for the story or want a better gameplay, just go for Rayman Legends.

Much better than Rayman Origins. The gameplay is more fun, easier to play, but some features might be a bit complicated.

Please note that this game requires UPlay and Ubisoft account in order to play. After purchasing the game and run it for the first time, you will receive a game key, which will be used to activate the game and add Rayman Legends to your Ubisoft account. While there are no achievements in Steam, they exist in UPlay. This might annoy some people, since they need to install UPlay and get a Ubisoft account if they do not have one. Also, this requires internet connection to login to UPlay.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a remastered version of 3 original Crash Bandicoot games. Even you haven't played these 3 original games before, I'm sure you will still enjoy this.

The gameplay is simple, yet enjoyable. It's not too easy or too difficult, just the right level of difficulty. However, you might get annoyed by falling off or getting hit so often. Also, the game is smooth as hell. No lagging at all.

This DLC is for cosmetic purpose only. Please judge them by yourself if you like it or not. I'll list some features of this DLC here.
  • After purchasing this DLC, some special treasure pods will appear on the map.
  • Unlocks each secret style by finding these pods, which they are easier to find when compared to normal treasure pods. However, if you do not want to challenge yourself in finding these pods, check this site[slimerancher.fandom.com], which contains all locations of these pods.
  • You can enable or disable secret styles of a certain slime. No need to enable or disable them all. This helps when you actually like the default style more than the secret style of a certain slime.
  • This applies for both normal form and largo form. This even applies for largo form with only one slime is being enabled with secret style.
  • Plorts are not affected.

After trying for a while, I do not recommend this. The controlling and keybinds are too weird and unnatural. They cannot be modified and edited either.

It's okay, I guess. There isn't pretty much good typing games out there, so I recommend this.

One of the best games in my childhood. Please note that this is game is quite old, you might encounter some problems about the screen resolution. Besides that, the game runs fine.
