The game has quite a striking visuals that give it a great atmosphere, puzzles that flow smoothly from one to another (albeit a little challenging if you missed an item or two along the way), and is significantly more expansive than I first thought, Given that this is the first title I've ever played from this developer, it's definitely a gateway for me to explore more of their works. Definitely worth a purchase!

Would recommend~ It has a simple gameplay loop yet it is both challenging and relaxing to play at the same time. You won't get hundred of hours out of the game all at once, but it will definitely keep drawing you back to it every now and again. Definitely worth the price~

Came back to check the game out because of the weird "major update", turns out the dev has been ranting in the patch note about their political beliefs, removing old contents to resell them as DLCs (allegedly), and taking down negative reviews to the point that steam themselves has to step in.
The game was good as far as I remember, but with a dev like these, I really can't recommend the game.
What a shame.

EDIT: Including this edit in regards to the DLCs, since there could've been some confusion with the content being in the beta branch of the game. However, this still doesn't excuse the unprofessional behavior shown by the dev, so I'm still not recommending it.

The game is constantly updated with new songs and other very helpful functions!

Yes, it did suffer from optimization issues in the beginning, but it was dealt with relatively quickly for the majority of the players.

A lot of the negative reviews are also from players who are unwilling to adapt to new mechanics and new ways to fight monsters since the skill floor is raised.
Not to mention the people who are complaining about the difficulty itself, it should be a given that the monster would be more difficult the further you progress. You can't simply expect your equipment from High Rank to perform as well in Master Rank as it did previously.

If you're deciding whether to buy this DLC, I say go for it. It's everything you love about MHW, and then some.

I came back to play the entire game again after they added the new achievements and I must say, they did a phenomenal job with the game. Every level has its own twist so there's plenty for both half-life newbie and veteran to enjoy and experience. I can't recommend it enough, you will definitely enjoy this game!

It's downright a tragedy that such an amazing game has such a disdain surrounding its name. I'll remain hopeful in this deep grave Valve buried us in. I want to believe that they will dig us out of here instead of leaving us to rot.

I like this game. I really do. But if there continues to be a lack of support from Valve, this game will not last much longer. #FixTF2

This game is very difficult to play till completion, but it was worth it as it is fun and creative, with the achievements to mark your progress. But now they just change the achievements to 'dying repeatedly for 300+ times to get perfect game' instead of getting one when you completed the milestone levels. At least have the old achievements together with the new one if you are going down this route.... Disappointing.
