This game being a sandbox has potential so this review isn't based on the developers or the game itself but rather the community. Honestly don't let your kids play this game. In my time playing it I was exposed to so many people such as paedophiles. I saw kids doxxing each other I saw schoolyard behaviour amplified. I witnessed a shameful police officer (irl) use this game as a plat form to take power over kids and then when I went to him for advice on a pedo case on some minor girls he exposed it publicly to belittle a server owner rather then doing his civil duty as a police officer. I saw 11 year olds doxxing 16 year olds. I saw adults urging the group of kids to dox and harrass people who used the reporting system. I don't regret it because I reported everything I saw to the police. And I like to think I helped a lot of people but I also feel this game made me severely anxious and frankly, it bought out negative traits in myself as well.

It's a great game with your friends but the communities are where there are issues. I feel as though these issues are in relation to Roleplay servers

Honesty one of the best game series. I hope they have another game because there are some unanswered questions but the game really does play out like a dream. The next game is also good but it saddens me about the era of gaming today. These games are not only to play and entertain. They are to tell a story about a girl who was lost in her head literally. In my personal opinion a lot of people go through an era of time where they are not who they want to be. And that sets them up for disappointment. The main protagonist in this instalment is going through just that. This keeps it relevant as we can identify with the main protagonist. April who gave up on her old life, Zoe who is in a rut with her life but still has hope and Kian who believes in the future of his people. They are all elements that we as people can identify to. The story may be slightly 2D for its time today with a lot of missing elements and unanswered questions but I believe you are supposed to play through the entire series multiple times. I love the mechanics and the characters. The game is very pretty. I did wish it was longer but this was typical of that eras game time.All in all the people who don't like it were probably never conditioned to this era of gaming. I personally believe this world and story like is by far better then final fantasy because it makes you feel things. But if you are bought up around things like COD and rust You probably would probably not be into this game as its more about the story and less about the game play. There are a lot of puzzles sometimes difficult sometimes easy. But I can see some people not enjoying it for that. I personally loved it.

Honestly this is probably now one of my favourite games. Protip: Don't waste your rocks. You'll need them.
