Update #1:
After this review I took the time and effort to actually learn tuning from scratch and was able to make the cars drive exactly how I want, sure physix engine is not much on the sim side but I managed to make the cars fun to drive at least

Concerning AI and the penalty system, it's still disastrously broken, AI will not make room, will hit you even if you're holding your line and the penalty system will punish you for that.

Visually the game runs for me on max graphics RTX off with no issues, however it doesn't look as near as promised in fidelity and quality still.

I still don't recommend this game, overall it's not a fun experience, the AI and the penalty system is really a deal breaker in terms of frustration it gives, same for the online experience.

If you are looking for a sim look elsewhere

Now that this is out of the way playing this as a simcade is still not the best experience

Assuming you made the overly understeery cars driveable using a good tune (which is a hassle to find, and a bigger hassle to learn), the penalty system is so bad, that it will punish you for others' mistakes. AI drives on the same line same speed, whether you're there or not, the only good thing about it is that it actually replicates your horrendous online experience. Pair that with the broken penalty system and you have the cherry on top.

On the good side, I didn't experience bugs playing this game, the experience in that regard has been smooth, The graphics are great, the car models are amazing, the sounds are good, car variety is also good.

The career system is not really a progressive career that make you feel like you're starting on the low end and progressing, it's rather just some events where they slap some tracks, restrict your car choice, and send you to finish it. Also, they managed to make it worse by bringing new career events every month that you have said month to finish them to unlock an exclusive car then the events and the car will be removed after that month. The FOMO events look more like a desperate way to bring people not focusing on the real issues,

I will revisit and change this review if they improve their physix engine and the penalty system.
