So... after more than a year, Forza Motorsport is still a pretty boring and broken game for me.
The only truly enjoyable aspect is the driving simulation and physics, which are decent for a sim-cade racing game—but that’s all.

It seems like Turn 10 doesn’t listen to community feedback and the developers probably don’t care (and why would they, when something like the endless money grab like FH5 exists, right?).

Graphically, everything still looks completely washed out, with dull colors and a grey palette with lacking contrast. Do I really need to spend time in the Nvidia app just to make your game look halfway decent? There’s barely any visible RTGI/RTAO implementation, the DLSS/TAA is terrible even with the transformer model, and performance is only average. All they’ve really done is improve optimization a bit, so at least that "ground-up" masterpiece doesn’t crash anymore.

Gameplay and career progression are still the same grindy and boring. There's no fixed performance class system, the AI is is still silly and like to ram you. I'm not even speaking about time-limited events... in a dead game, lol.

As for multiplayer—I haven’t touched it and don’t plan to. I’m not going to waste my life fighting with low-IQ players in public lobbies - worst time investment ever.

I was a bit excited about the new Fuji track (yay, some decent content after release!), but that alone isn’t a good reason to buy the game. Honestly, mods for Assetto Corsa do the job better.

Still don’t recommend it—even if you’re a fan of Microsoft games. For me - just $20 wasted twice. For you - don't repeat that experience of mine.

Now that it has Fujimi Kaido and the Nürburgring Nordschleife, I'd say its worth buying. Fujimi is gorgeous and the Nordschleife is quite well done too. The weather/time options are nice, and overall the game runs smoothly on ultrawide (3440x1440) with an RTX 3080. Otherwise, its pretty generic Forza Motorsport, not spectacular in any way really, but the 2 tracks I mentioned do a lot of heavy lifting, for me at least.
