This isnt a remaster, its a tech demo
This is a cool experimental tech demo but its pretty much outdated now as we now have Quake 2 remastered which not only looks better but also runs better.
This is a 1st gen RTX game and it feels like such, its not well optimised and if you compare it to the original Quake 2 almost none of the artstyle has been retained.
The cutscenes are just the FMVs from the og release.
Its kind of a testament to show that Ray Tracing doesnt equal better lighting.
This is a cool thing to try for maybe half an hour but it gets boring after that.

Wont launch anymore. No matter how many times i reinstall it or verify game file intergrity it just wont launch.

Best RE4 clone since RE4!
RE4 is one of the greatest and most influential games of all time and pretty much every action adventure game since has copied it.
I didnt think this remake would be that good. This isnt boring or easy like RE Village this is the real good ♥♥♥♥.
Almost every section is similar while also different to the original bringing new stuff for old players whilst maintaining a modern feel for new players. RE4R is not just a great remake but a superb game dare i say the best game ive played in years. I really think this game is a masterpiece and I dont use that term lightly.
This is the best RE4 clone since RE4 if that makes sense since theyre have been a bunch of RE4 clones since the release of RE4 (e.g RE5-6,RE8, Revelations 1 and 2, Tomb Raider Survivor trilogy, Uncharted series, Dead Space etc.) but none have topped RE4 until this game.
Basically it gets most of what made RE4 amazing and got rid some speed bumps on the road.
If youre reading this I cannot stress this enough please buy this game especially if your an RE veteran like myself. THIS game is awesome and you should "buy it at a high price!"

I got to play the campaign while everyone was playin multiplayer beta and did you guys know there is a mission that makes you shoot up an airport! So next gen.

I start the game up, It starts in 640 x 480 so I change it to 1920 x 1080p and was impressed to see it had support for up to 144hz which I didnt even know existed back then. Anyway I change it to 1080p and the game is stuck in a window box and it looks like my pc froze but it seems like the game didnt freeze. I can hear the noises of the menu in the background so I decide to go up to the options menu and change the resoloution again thankfully closing the game. Dunno why this game is so buggy on PC but its pretty bad. I wouldnt reccomend this game

Avoid this port like the plague. Dead Rising 2 is a game that never crashed on me and was a pretty good port all things considered. However this game has a bug where sometimes when I start up the game it crashes so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard that I have to restart my PC. New desktop doesnt work since the game still shows up on every new desktop and according to task manager its no longer running. This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ disgraceful that its being sold on the PC market. Get it on console or emulate it.

Kojima has been real quiet since this masterpiece dropped.
