Yes, after getting close to a year of joking about it not having a GTX 590/Radeon 7970, and more recently, a GTX 680, it will not boot. It goes to load the bootloader (the sequence before you see the normal XP bootloader) and restarts.

Now normally, I'd throw my external drive with a maintainable copy of Ubuntu 11.10 and work from there. Unfortunately, Acer monitors tend to hate GRUB. However, a fix is documented, but I said tl;dr.

Which is why I'm not typing this from a WINE'd Steam client. Instead, I am typing this with a YUMI installation of Ubuntu 11.04, which does not retain settings.

This means that development WILL NOT CONTINUE until further notice. I will not be able to respond to any questions you may have.

Now if you'll excuse me, tomorrow I'm off to run either gddrescue or ddrescue. Until then:

The [redacted] project will not only focus on [redacted], but the majority of the [redacted]. Plus, it'll be 24/7, with [redacted] on while I'm away from the controls.
