Remembering the good old days...

A group for those who are never too old for gaming, even if free time has become a rare commodity.

The intent is for this to be a place for us to share ideas, games, and hopefully actually manage to get some sort of organized game night put together - a way for us to actually try and get more of our money's worth out of our collection!

Nosgoth - 4v4 PVP Goodness

I've recently start playing Nosgoth. I wasn't sure how good it would be, as I hadn't heard anything about it, but it turns out it's actually surprisingly well done. To sum up, it's a 4v4 PVP game, one side human vampire hunters, the other side vampires. Gameplay could best be described as a modified Left 4 Dead.

I have several beta keys to give away, if anyone wants to try it out. If you would rather buy a founders pack to get a few other in-game perks, then the Humble Store has the Veteran pack on sale for $5.[www.humblebundle.com]

If any of you are interested, just send me a message, or leave a comment here. I know I - and I think everyone else - have been pretty distracted with other things for a while and we haven't had a gaming night/weekend lately. I think this would be a decent game to play together - especially if we can get a 4-man team running with RaidCall. I'm going to post an event for this weekend, and if anyone wants to join in, feel free to do so.

Starbound Planet Log - 12/15 Update

What follows is a kept log of planets being used on our Starbound server. I'll try to keep this log updated as changes are made.

2/1/14 - WITH THE NEWEST BALANCE PATCH, I HAVE STARTED A NEW UNIVERSE. According to Chucklefish, this will hopefully be the last character/ship/universe wipe, so if all goes to plan, this will be the last time I have to create a new universe. I have also swapped ISPs, so my IP address has changed.

Coordinates are system markers and not planet specific.

Let's plan a game day Friday for those who are free. I think everyone's library contains a lot of the same games. I'm down for some Awesomenauts, RTS or if you can spend .50 that orion game with dinosaurs, mechs, and jetpacks seems fun. Post here is you want to play something.

Some of you may have recently acquire King Arthur's Gold. It looks to be a chaotic, shark throwing, castle destroying, bloody good time. I don't think singleplayer offers much but the multiplayer seems very promising. I've worked out getting the server running and I think even with all of us on at once, it should run good (the game is very lightweight). On our next game night I'll give the server IP out but if you want to test it out before then just let me know and I'll give you the information.
