Use this to direct connect (since Space Engineers lacks a "Favorites" function):
1. Under the Steam top bar, go to View -> Servers
2. Go to the Favorites tab, then "ADD A SERVER"
3. Enter IP address & port listed above [IP address]:[port]
4. Click on server in your list to directly connect.

We're using the "Steam group whitelist" function, so only people in this group can connect. Feel free to invite friends to build the community. Since I'm currently fronting the server cost at $10.60/mo for 8 slots, if I get donations I'm open to expanding the number of slots for more people.

Considering I've been the only person to use the dedicated server for the last 3 weeks, I'll be shutting down the server.

Dogfighting Events

I'd like to hold weekly or bi-weekly dogfighting tourneys. Since the resource cost of this would be prohibitive in survival mode, these events would override the gamemode to creative or held on a client-hosted computer (like Broncs?).

As for rules, we could have a couple hangers pre-built to allow individuals or teams to build for an allotted time before we begin, or have limited weapon numbers.

Anyone interested?

That did it. Updated & reinstated object limit to 256.

Another patch came out and it's out of date now. Perhaps they fixed the issue.

FYI, last week's update added a bug where servers crash when any floating object is picked up. I set the floating object limit to 0 as the workaround. Keep in mind, this means if we drop anything consider it lost and don't try to pick it up. I'll be testing the server now to see if it's working.
