General Message:

Here is our second weekly report. Overall our first week was a great start. I expected us to have low numbers the first week but I was honestly surprised by the consistency we were able to pull together throughout the whole week. Awesome work guys. This week I will be finishing the Training Base, finalizing the initial modpack, and trying to get everyone on board with Arma Sync. We have also made progress with the groups symbol and or patch. Initial sketches have been posted to the forums and It would be great to get everyone's thoughts on it.

Special thanks:

I would like to give a special thank you to several of our members for their contributions these past few weeks. Firedog has been pivotal in the organization and set up of this group. He has already added several very useful in game procedures with regards to Helos, Wasteland, and many others. Firedog has also been a key figure on the admin side of the house by setting up and sponsoring our teamspeak server, game server, and our own wasteland game mode. He is also working on a very useful script for the "CQB" training. Leximus has dedicated several hours of his vacation to this group perfecting and adding to procedures. The importance we now put on our egress as well as using large armored vehicles in a wasteland game has been all you sir. Mohler has "fragged", and made our room clearing procedures that much better by applying the KISS acronym to it. Miller has begun work on our "overwatch" role. More specifically the sniper/spotter relationship and its off to a great start. Smith has allowed us to utilize his Zues manual and it has been incredibly helpful in preparing that pivotal role within our group. Thre3, “the ghost”, and Serge, “the family man”, have always given 100% to this group and continue to do so. Rotor and Buddha have tirelessly provided an ear for me to bounce ideas off throughout the day. Thanks guys. And last but definitely not least I want to be sure to thank Bridge. Your short time with this organization has improved it ten fold and I thank you for that sir. Bridge is 100% responsible for the training map you all see today as well as improving many different aspects on the admin side of the house.

We spent the week on the Communication category going over the 3Ds. We implemented 3 basic call outs. Detailed, Bulls-eye, and Clocked.

Vanilla Stamped:

The 3Ds should remain constant regardless of mods or Vanilla

Weather Stamped:

We still need to weather stamp the 3Ds although we did spend a little time with them at night. More is needed.

Lessons learned:

-Implementing a Mods required section into the flow sheet.
-Arma sync and a repository system are a must
-We need a way to provide security for the downloads guys will be required to grab for OPFOR events.
-Tracers are a great way to keep folks on the same page during training as well as IR lasers at night.

Future plans:

Right now the focus is on getting organized and proving our ideas work by putting them in motion. We will be starting on stratus with a small base and then pushing to Altis at a later date as we expand.

We are still talking to BWC for our first coop mission. Right now their modpack is extremely big and we need to find a way to make sure it is secure. They are anxious to work with us and we could do something with them very soon.

Current Projects:

Group symbol. We are working towards perfecting the group symbol. The main idea has been posted we just need to get everyone's feed back.

The Training map is just about finished on stratus. We will need folks to go through it and provide input on changes. This is simply the first version and we expect to make many changes.
