The 75th Ranger Regiment - Regimental Reconnaissance Company was a MilSim unit that specialized in conducting short-duration and long duration reconnaissance of objectives for a larger fighting force. This reconnaissance is routinely conducted in support of future strike or special light infantry operations. RRC teams can also be used to conduct deep target acquisition and designation, or to confirm or disprove information reported by other sources. Teams can also at times conduct limited raids on enemy targets. The unit has three primary tasks: Active Reconnaissance, Surveillance, Direct Action.

Hill 400 Legacy Event

As the final event of the year and as per tradition, we're going to WWII to take Hill 400. Hill 400, Bergstein, was a key position in the Hürtgen Forest of Germany, where Axis forces held a commanding view of the area, stopping any and all friendly movement. 120 men from the 2nd Ranger Battalion were tasked with the capture of this hill to advance the Allied push into Germany.
