There are several methods to get a solution that results in torpedoes on target. I'm not claiming this is the best but it works for me, doesn't require a Microsoft spreadsheet, and is pretty accurate and quick. From the time we select our target and make our first course change to torpedo impact is less than 12 minutes.

Plot own course to intercept
Plot target range and bearing
Get speed estimate
Plot target range and bearing
Plot target AOB
Sink target

Update 0.26 has been released on the beta branch!

This is the first iteration of the interior, and not all interactable systems have been added or integrated yet.

Up next is the fully animated and intractable engines, the new playable engine chief officer, adding the missing equipment and details from the radio and sonar rooms as well as torpedo reloading.

Hi everyone, longtime ghost reader here, i like the fact subsim is on steam. keep the forum alive guys! its cool to review some other military titles that we as a group probably play already, for me, the total war series gets a shout out, ace combat 7 (haha,)

Hi everybody !
On Steam, I focused on tactical games like SHOWWII & MOWAS2, and I had completely forgotten that there were also fans for Silent Hunter III (and other similar games).
Now, with this group, I will be able to reconcile the 2, without of course exempting myself from connecting to the SubSim Forum (of which I have been a member since 2011).
But we meet on Steam some interesting people, especially the famous (Chinese) U-47 who is now developing mods for MOWAS2.
