Hi Valve, could you please have publishers accept the invitation to an event before their game is included in it? Our game has already been added twice to events we've never heard of, and there's not even an option to opt-out other than emailing the organizer.

There's a huge banner placed on top of your game's store page that can divert users' attention from your game.

Ah, i guess there’s a point. Though you still likely gain more visits from the events page usually than gets "stolen". But i see other hypothetical situations when that can be unwanted, and in general it feels weird that accepting invitation is not required.
