The Social Media Links section was hidden in my browser (Firefox) due to the popular browser plug-in uBlock Origin. (Chrome with uBlock Origin might be affected too, but I don't use Chrome.) When I disable uBlock Origin for the Steamworks page and reload it, the Social Media Links section shows up.
The block rule seems to come specifically from the filter list "EasyList – Social Widgets" which I have now disabled, as it seems overly aggressive. I'm not sure this filter is enabled by default, which probably means there hasn't been a lot of people experiencing the issue. Anyway, I hope the info might be helpful to others if they have the same issue.
Also when you don't see something — better try another browser or incognito mode with all extensions disabled.
I have a different issue I think is related, but I tried using different browsers and disabling all privacy/tracking/sandbox stuff, but I can't figure it out, when I upload pictures or trailers I keep getting "S3: Upload failed: InvalidPart: One or more of the specified parts could not be found. The part may not have been uploaded, or the specified entity tag may not match the part's entity tag."
Could not find a thread about it anywhere, my co-developer in Brazil can upload stuff just fine with the same browser and extensions as my and everything enabled, so I'm really thinking it's some network filtering stuff at routing or ISP level I haven't managed to pinpoint, I'm in the UK, and I'm thoroughly puzzled
That sounds pretty weird, do you have some VPN you can try it on?
Yeah, there are threads about "S3: Upload failed" errors here, but they're all different, not "InvalidPart" one, and none seems applicable to this case.
