If the training data is all licensed then should be good to go, but that information should be available to the consumer.

The way I read it, it is actually illegal to do that - it's just not spoken out loud, just implied :) it's up to us developers to make sure we don't use stolen training data. Of course, since it's hard to prove, a lot of devs will use stolen training data anyway and lie about this. But at least, that way Valve is not liable.

Shame on you all for thinking this is ok. Geniunely, this is probably the worst decision you have made in recent years.

It's not particularly shocking that there's kids on here who don't see the issue, cause they have yet to actually get into a job and know how damaging all this AI garbage has been.

I have amazing news for you guys - there actually is no complexity to this issue. AI = theft. Just ban all the AI games.

Ai is such an incredible tool, but a severe double edged sword. Allow its use with justified regulations. Dont fear monger and ask for absolute removal of AI. Again, Ai is capable of both great and terrible things, but bandwaggoning against any and all use of it is worthless as other companies will not respect you and overtake you.
There are some very childish opinions that are derived from what surface level understanding of AI can offer and knee jerk reactions to it because someone with a big number of followers on some social media site told you to not like it.
Dont be toxic about it, be civil.
