Winter is the biggest sale of the year. Differences from autumn: includes a holiday event, badge and trading cards; discounts receive the maximum number of games.

So there is no difference in prices, only in amount of games on sale? If I understand it right.

It's up to you as a developer to decide and set the price/discount.

I didn't compare autumn/winter discounts. I think the winter sale is the most profitable for the buyer. It is possible that in the autumn the developer will make a 75% discount on his game, and in the winter - 50%. This may be. The publisher/developer decides this. If you are specifically interested in some games, then you can look at steamdb.info for a history of discounts and roughly estimate what discounts are expected for a particular product.

Why ask Steam? They doesnt even decide price. In fact, on that matter, we gamers have more power. No buy = lesser price next time.
