Can you expand on this experience when returning to a game on the Deck that was suspended? Does it automatically reboot the game if it detects the save has changed?
Some games not let me delete savefiles on main menu and because of that games have full steam cloud and dont want to create new or delete existing in the cloud...

Given the fact that they've already verified games *before* this new feature was announced, that won't be the case.
i played shadow of the tomb raider natively on linux, but i did NOT have my LINUX save games on a windows maschine.
i guess most ppl use windows on their PC, but if there is a linux version of the game, they wont have their save games on steam deck, except if they force proton

This only happens when you play the native ports from Feral. If you play through Proton, saves are shared between Windows and Linux
