This is a small step in the right direction. I'm eager for more EAC/BattlEye titles to work on the Deck and Linux.

Very nice. Is there any information on whether or not it will work with normal wine too?

very cool! simply having to call battle eye is about as simple as you can get. i wonder if that works for games that are no longer receiving updates

Prop to Steam for pushing Linux gaming further.

Now to try and convince developers that Linux is worth enabling this sort of support; many consider Linux bad for gaming and don't want to support or deal with proton/wine users having issues. Then there is a crowd who seem to hate Linux in general...

Pretty big uphill battle still....

Awesome news. Very excited to see more Anti-Cheat titles playable on Linux.

Awesome ♥
Thank you for allowing us linux users to play your game without needing to boot into Windows!
Really hope a lot of other developers will follow suit.

Dude I was literally preparing to install Windows 7 on a different partition so I can at least try Siege again lmao. I don't know what to do anymore,

They should simply enable it as default and require devs to contact them to shut off proton support if they wish to that way more games get it.
