Hello,

Two questions my team has:

1) We plan to have our coming soon page live on April 30. Does the coming soon page have to live April 24 to apply?
2) We would be happy to provide steam a demo, but does the demo also have to be available to the public?

Thank you so much!
Hey @AIden I just wanted to follow up! Where should we direct our questions? I'd like mine answered pretty soon as well as would others.

Hi, we plan release our game before summer 2021, but at this moment the game is on Early Access. Are Early Access games allowed for this festival? Thanks very much.

I'm also interested in such question. I hope EA games are eligible.

Sadly I think EA games are not eligible. According to the document, "the game will need to have a coming soon page listed in the store." And our early access game is marked as inapplicable.

I guess EA games can participate. How did Hyperparasite participate in the program happened during Mar 18-23, 2020. That game was in EA for 1 year and released on Apr 03rd, 2020.

I have a similar situation, I am also interested in the oficial answer on this question.
Yeah, Valve,
please clarify the ability of EA games for participation in this event!
Hey guys, thanks for your interest and questions. The Game Festivals that we have hosted have not all been exactly alike, as we fine-tune the format. This Summer Edition festival is for games that have not yet released AND have a playable demo for fans to experience. Here are some answers to your specific questions:

My game is supposedly not eligible to be placed in the festival. Is this because I have profile features limited. If this is the case, how do I get past that?
Thanks in advance!
- Games that have already released in Early Access are not eligible. if you have a game you plan to release into Early Access after June 15th (and before next summer), then you may participate with that game.

- Games that have already released, or will release prior to Jun 15th are not eligible.

Hi, I have a game that it's on the coming soon page (id:1074280), with a release date set to Q1 2021, but on the Steamworks website it says it's not eligible, any reason why?
The release date set on your app landing page is currently set in the past :(

Kindermann Corp eredeti hozzászólása:
Can we update the demo after May 15th? (so between May 15th and June 9th) or that day is the deadline?
We need you to have a pretty final demo by May 15th so we can check it out before the event goes live. But you can update as necessary at any time.

- Your coming soon page can wait to go public at the start of the event on Jun 9th.

- Yes, you will need a publicly playable demo that fans can experience in order to participate in the festival.
Thank you for the answer, we are really excited to participate in this : )
Thanks so much for clarifying!
Thanks! I had already contacted support to change my release date, I figured that it was something like that XD

Hope good luck and hot sale. :D
when I fill out the form for my game, there is no option "submit", just "save", so do I sign up successfully?
