What is the mentioned SYSRESTORE.zip listed in the SHA512 and MD5? It is an image of SteamOS geared for flash drives, and when used wipes your computer and installs SteamOS. See the official FAQ for more info.

Too. But we need(or at least, that is my wish) independently verified sha1 checksums. Better sha512, so that we know the download didn't corrupt in the first place.

Thanks. Thought now it finishes in 10 min.. http download was at fullcap for a few minutes. Now it crapped out again.
