Unable to install Steam OS from Zorin OS on a chromebook
I have been trying to install Steam OS on to a chromebook i put Zorin OS on, but when i boot the USB drive, it shows clear local user data, reimage steam deck, reinstall Steam OS and terminal with repair tools.
No install Steam OS
none of them work, they claim that "/dev/nvme0n1 does not exist -- no nvme drive detected?"

How can i get around this? it seems to run well on this chromebook and i want to use it, but i cant if it wont install.

Uh, I don't understand. Do you happen to know of anyway to get around that?
Also, what I see is the steam os operating system, not just text on a black screen

You shouldn't have installed SteamOS. I think it actually pre-date the support for nvme drives. It's THAT outdated. You should have just stayed on ZorinOS and make Steam start in Big Picture mode at start to have a similar console experience.

I do understand, however, Zorin OS is running too slow when it should be faster, so unless you have a better idea
