Seekers of sublime cooperative experiences

As today is Sunday, the last weekend day of the Steam sale, I am furiously seeking a way to spend this hundred bucks I got approval to spend for my gaming hobby.

I've been trying to get a dialog going here, but some of the folks I invited have not yet accepted the invitation and I have been unsuccessful at engaging the rest of us, so I am now taking a different approach.

For single-player me, I've been watching Hayden play that Kingdom Come game and I'm close to popping for that along with maybe Shadow of War or some Elder Scrolls Online crowns.

I'd much rather buy some co-op games for "the gang", but I'm afraid of buying five copies of a game we won't play.

How about Deep Rock Galactic? Under $20 per copy (on sale), and it looks to be an interesting co-op experience (for 4 players). One of them Ubisoft open work dealies might be a good way to go. Something like Far Cry or Ghost Recon could be a nice open world shooting-fest.

Or maybe I pop for a dedicated server for one of our games? Maybe even Minecraft?
