what happens when you combine the backstories/lores of every game/movie/book ect. into a single platform, and give the community creative freedom.
Life simulator. (family, friends, stores, jobs, industry, pets, ect.)
A place where you can play as ANYTHING, do ANYTHING, go ANYWHERE.
(Yes, that means if you want, you can even play as spongebob, firing a crossbow at living trollfaces on the deathstar, thats on autopilot towards a black hole, alongside chuck norris, batman, and buzz lightyear... i mean AAAAANNNNYYYYTTTTHHHHIIIINNNNGGGG there is no limit.)(Also, thats not something i've personally seen done, its just a sort of inside joke because someone asked me if they could do that once, so thats my new description for "anything" X3)

Pretty much what second life is, how it started-
In the very beginning, yeah, i guess it WAS a chatroom with a physical room you could walk around in with a few set avatars, but the creators gave the community tools, and a few building blocks, and said "Its your world, do what you want with it." now it has indipendent continents, regions nowhere near anything based on world war two combat, wasteland survival, dinosaurs, fantasy, ect. takes place... Its pretty much whatever you make of it.

Random things i have to say---
It pisses me off that people always say "Oh, its a glorified chatroom" when almost all multiplayer games have chats built in, even PVP ones... so if you're some kind of PG MMO fanboy, and claim SL is just a chatroom, that makes your games the same damn thing, but it also means SL is BETTER at being a chatroom than your lousy game ever will be!
It ALSO pisses me off that people always say "Oh, second life? You mean that one sex game!" when less than one percent of the game is based around it, infact pretty much 90% of all second life regions instantly ban people for even taking their shirt off. the other nine percent merely tolerates their presence. Just because second life HAS sex, doesn't mean its BASED ON it. especially when its such a small fucking thing.
