Naval Special Warfare Command Special Forces Unit

Good Afternoon all!

I make this announcement very happily, and hope this reaches you all well. I have decided, alongside CAPT. J. Fischer and LTC B. Duarte to give the NSWC the future it always deserved. This means that within the immediate future, we will be re-opening our doors to allow boarding, for new and old members alike.

I am aware that this announcement was made previously back in February, some 10 months ago now! We did indeed plan on bringing the unit back, however with very narrow availability and time allocations, we simply couldn't operate as an efficient unit. Following this, the desire is still very much alive and well, and situation and circumstance has allowed the three of us to work for the past week, on all documents needed to allow smooth operation of the unit like we have never seen before. When I commanded the unit for the first time, nearly 3 years ago, I had been given control of a unit that was stood on foundations that were good, but needed a lot of fine tuning. Due to the stresses I put myself under, with a lack of delegation and trust in others, this never got ironed out the way it should have done, and with every change we made, the paper trail only grew longer.

What does all this mean?
This means, we have collectively assessed our pitfalls from the last iterations of the unit, and have now corrected them so that we may have a prosperous future built on solid foundations. All recruitment, training, promotion and administrative documents have been carefully mapped out and built upon, so whether you are a soldier, a team leader, pilot or commander, you have guidance to turn to when needed, in black and white.

I am now confident enough about our imminent opening that I write this message to you, former members of our beloved unit. I extend the courtesy of giving you all the first chance at joining back in active service for us. I understand many of you, like us, have had changes in lifestyle and circumstance and joining back may not be an option or desire. If that is the case, you are still very much part of the family, and I invite you to pop in any time and catch up. Perhaps you'd care to share some memorable footage taken in your time with us to make us laugh.
