Gunmetal Bastards Enters Beta

Briefing -

Morning, you bastards. Server is going live THIS WEEKEND, 11NOV16, @1700 Mountain Standard Time GMT-6! What this means is that I will be buying our playground and loading it up with Wasteland V3. Only members of THIS GROUP will be able to go on the server during it's BETA stage, which I anticipate to be about 3 weeks before I get everything how I want it.

To explain the server -

Gunmetal Bastards is themed around Mad Max - ain't no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fancy FLIR sites or heat-seaking rockets or any of that nonsense. Here, you will rely on your skill and training as an Arma soldier and exercise more tactical operation on the battlefield, Altis. Weaponry and vehicles will be spread throughout the hot wastes, as will food, water, and other useful supplies. Be aware, however, purchasing vehicles and weapons will come at a heavy cost the more advanced they are. In your exploration, your primary source of income will be slaughtering the OPFOR and taking everything they have. Here are your teams:

Rangers (BLUFOR)


Warpigs (OPFOR)


Outcasted (INDIE)

Again, you will have access to all weapons provided you have all of the DLC. All attachments are available except for FLIR/Nightstalker optics, and this goes for vehicles as well. Most ordinance is availble except for heat-seaking and laser guided rocket launchers. I've restricted the use of heavy vehicles including anti-air and heavy armor vehicles such as the KUMA and Varsuk. The M4 Sochor can be purchased but at an extremely heavy cost, as will rearm for the shells as well.

This may seem a little "much" but I want to encourage more tactics outside of "We can just tag him 3km out with a DAGR".

End of Brief Remarks -

Server will be live on Friday as I previously stated. If you have friends who are willing to join the server PLEASE add them to the group! For every friend you recruit I will be rewarding you with $100,000 in game currency into your ATM to spend at your disposal. Be on the lookout for upcoming Polls to add some mods such as CUP Weapons and even Vehicles to the game.
