Zodiac Legion, a tactical RPG with a dynamic strategic campaign
Hey there! As no one has been posting about my game here, but I hope it may still be of interest to some of you:
I started to make Zodiac Legion because there was no game combining turn-based dungeon crawler with an X-COM like geoscape.
On the tactical part of the game, you lead your party of champions in deadly dungeon raids (but we also have outdoor missions!), plundering ancient ruins for magic lore, or taking control of sources of magic power.
On the strategic part, you take command of the order, choose your foes and allies, your missions, and decide where to direct your research and magic crafting efforts. The "geoscape" is also turn-based, with each turn being one month of the Zodiac.

I never really stopped! I just had to take a few months-long breaks to get contract work money at some points.
Hmm. looks interesting.
This just popped up on my radar courtesy of Qt3, and I was going to post about it. Good thing the search function works!

Thank you, BBB! I still have to add the "lite 4X" elements. The plan is to have 4X operations (like battles, infiltration) being played as chained missions (a bit like the influence in Twilight Struggle, but with mission outcomes used to increase/resolve influence in an area).

There is a demo guys, I think you should all have a go :).
Just a word of warning! The demo is still quite "raw", and lacks progression(it is a combat demo only) and explanations.

We added a tutorial, reworked the AI and combat mechanisms, and improved optimization (there is still a good margin for progress, though). We also added things like traps and teleporters.

The strategic elements have still to be added back, but that should come "soon" (the plan is to have the first skeleton back for Summer).
