As I noted in Nate's thread, I've put quite a few hours into games well before they came out on Steam; and with other games, I don't own them on Steam at all.

Add Skyrim ahead of Civ 6, and then replace the bottom 3 with Space Engineers, Factorio and 7 Days to Die.

Quite surprised that Space Engineers and 7DtD make it into the top 10 tbh, I only ever play them co-op with my girlfriend and didn't expect either to break the 100 hours mark. Tho I'm not sure I trust Steam's numbers much; it thinks I've played 37 minutes of EU4 which is definitely out by a few orders of magnitude.

Of course, this list is skewed, as I put a lot of time into some of my games before they were available on Steam. If it were somehow possible to factor in *actual* total playtime, then MTW, DW, and Armada would all place much higher on my list (MTW would probably be #1, in fact).

Shogun Total War, which doesn't even show up on this list, would be in my top 5, as I easily spent 1000+ hours playing that game when I was younger (and I still happily dive back into from time to time). Pandora: First Contact would probably make my "Honorable Mentions" list, as would Galactic Civilizations II.



EDIT: Meant to add that the one real surprise was the amount of time I apparently spent playing Attila. (Honestly, I didn't even think it'd be in my top 20.) The only reason it held any attraction for me at all was the Age of Charlemagne DLC and the 1212 AD mod.
