This link here shows you how many exactly are on each shard right this minute. Interestingly, Indom is currently second to lowest, yet I run into folks all the time, and the chat channels are always busy.

I don't know an exact count, but they're all quite active. I'm on Indomitable myself, and although I rarely see it red, I've never seen it below two dots, either.

And yep, you can transfer your characters as many times as you like between the shards. (And you have 1,000 character slots per shard, who can all have their names changed as often as you like.)

Oh, is character transfer in Homecoming a thing also? Say, moving one of my chars from Reunion to another server.

@Michael Do you happen to know the average player count for each of the servers on Homecoming? I want to create my characters on a server that has people of course, but not one that is always in the red (as long as I can get into it) or one that has basically no players at all.

Also it's worth noting that these are all client-side mods. And yes, Homecoming totally allows them.

This is a really terrific CoH modding tool that's been put together by the community. Want to replace the title song with the "epic" version of the City of Heroes theme? Swap out sound effects for powers? Add custom client-side costume parts? Replace graphical assets?

Technically, you always could do these things. But now, everything is collected together all in one spot with an incredibly simple interface that automatically accesses every mod available.

Well, "officially" as in allow public access to the source codes, etc. STILL, this is awesome-- hope this never comes to end.

You can get fly at level 4 unlike the old days. You can get athletic run, beast run and Ninja run right away instead of having to earn them. And building your base is free too, I love that. You can get a base and setup all the portals right away. That's awesome, one of the worst things I thought about that old days was traveling was TOO SLOW from mish to mish and the fast travel powers were not avail until level 14 and up. Also XP boosts are available if you want to level quickly. I hope that helps, link below.

Server is up and Running 24/7 currently it uses the I24 Files but Custom Content is Planned too.

Its a new Server so it has not many Players currently .

What I don't get... Why would anyone wanting to keep a private server secret invite DocBoy?

Meta Rhyno (Invuln/SS tank) and C r i t i c a l (Spines/SR) were my more well known toons. Infinity Server - Anointed Brotherhood and dUmb were the Supergroups with one other who's name escapes me.

First comment of 2018. Missing all of my friends from CoH, and my supergroup HoT (House of Tera) from.. what was it I can barely remember.. The Justice server? lol Currently sitting at my computer on a slow pretty Sunday getting hit by emotions of nostalgia, a bit of sadness, and just reminiscing on times I had with this old forgotten MMO. I'm in a new chapter of my life; a nice family, lovely wife. Sitting down and having some time to think brings me back to some of the fun times I had with friends in this MMO. This is the first MMO shutdown I have experienced in my lifetime. I'm sure I will never forget it. Hope everyone has a good new year.

Topping out around 4'6" tall}. One of the few catmen you saw before the Animal Pack. =p And a mascot of the Rogue Isles Pet Shelter. I was a -long- time Capester, one of the unofficial Loremasters, and still a little salty that I was about a month away from City Traveler before they "gave it away fro free." =p
