Spandex and... Steam? I smell a Nemesis Plot™!

Greetings, heroes and villians!

I set this group up as a way for all general members to get together via Steam and coordinate, now that we're officially in cahoots with steampowered.com. :) What is this NOT?

1. This is NOT limited to a particular server. Anyone from any server is invited to participate.

2. This is NOT moderated or approved by NCSoft or Paragon Studios. If someone hurts your feelings, you're on your own, son.

So what IS this place then?

This IS a good way for people to identify other CoH players on Steam, and get to chatting! The Steam client is terrific as an ingame chat client, and meshes well with the social aspects in City of X for teaming, chatting or any other activity involving two or more people. ...okay, that sounded weird, but you get the picture.

So, join up! Show some spandex pride! Bring your best to the table, and stand tall with your fellow Steam subscribees in:

Please don't take my subject as a complaint or something derogatory. I'm actually quite enthusiastic about the idea of the people are returning to the game again after so many years! However, I would be remiss if I did not admit that I have not been paying attention to Steam and its communities as much as I should. I'm a dad of two now, and I'm a busy man.

If anyone would like to step up and take a moderator role here in order to facilitate for the discussion for City of Heroes and associated activities, I'll be more than happy to bring you one to the team. If you were so interested, please message me directly and let's have a conversation! I spend most of my time in Elder Scrolls Online right now, and streaming as a side note on Twitch, but I do intend on stretching my feet in Paragon City sometime soon. I would love to see all of you there, but at the very least I'd like to get this channel back on track for steam users overall.

Offline Costume Creator Now Available!

Yes, you read that right. Thanks to the efforts of Codewalker, there is now a way to view your characters, and create new ones. Introducing: Icon, the COH Costume Creator launcher.

Simply download icon.exe from http://repo.cohtitan.com/icon/icon.exe and put it on the same folder as your City of Heroes client (live i23 or beta i24, either will work). When you execute icon.exe, it will launch COH and instantly kick it into Costume Creator mode.

Avoid Orbweavers and Acanous Tal Immin Gabrielsword along with Luna/Dream aka Frazzle. They are toxic, malicious twofaced people who will pretend to be your friends just to make fun of you. They are among the most viscious and discriminative people I've met.
