Yeah, but you never know when a new installment will change that, specially with the pressure from publishers, investors & etc. So I'm glad to inform that this title wasn't ruined.

Alien: Isolation is not woke. Westworld: Awakening and Arizona Sunshine 1 and 2 were not woke. But Alien: Rogue Incursion which is a kind of spin-off sequel for Alien Isolation with the developers of the mentioned games was (not overtly) woke with "trans" writer Alex White and Gamergate's Zoë Quinn responsible for the story.

Underrail and its dev are constantly under attack by wokies because of dev's personal views. I highly recommend this game, it's a turn-based RPG inspired by Fallout/Metro 2033

I've been using any suspicion of wokeness as a filter. The Talos Principle 2 might not be (overtly?) woke, but these two red flags you mentioned are enough for me to postpone the purchase until it gains a huge discount.

A Few Recommendations

Gray Zone Warfare, non-woke, open-world extraction shooter emphasizing realism.

Squad, non-woke, tactical FPS that provides authentic combat experiences through teamwork, communication, and realistic combat.

Broken Arrow, non-woke, large-scale modern warfare tactics RTS. Not currently released, but I have participated in multiple playtests, totaling 160 hours. Great game.

Mad Max, been a while since I played this title; however, from what I remember, it is not woke. It might be a good idea to get a second person to confirm this, as I was drunk for most of my playthrough.

Grocery Store Simulator, non-woke title, great for killing time, simple game-play loop.

Mad max does have a boss that says some really gay stuff towards max, and I was fighting him. Honestly, anything WB makes is not-recommended.

Finished main campaign chapters 1-4 with Aftermath expansion chapters 5-7. Haven't played last 8-9, because I didn't bought them yet. Had read all story and characters' background info, with unlocked characters' backstory video (for those who have it). No woke or leftist messaging whatsoever.
One young man from Russia was anti-government agitators, and ended up in prison. One reporter had a father who beat his mother when he was a child. This is the closest thing to checklist of this group, but it is balanced by the fact that most of the backstories are about the loss of a family (traditional) or the acquisition of faith. Not a single LGBT flag, even in USA chapter :D. Most females looks like this:
