Waxshades are part of an ancient hivemind of unknown origin or speicies
the wax is a parasite that infects hosts and takes over their minds and deforms them beyond all recognition by congealing the blood into a waxy like
substance that multiplys over time as such they have a great hatred for blood as it can break down the parasite and stop growth
the hive minds objective is to cleanse the world of the filth that is blood and all associated with it, so that all may be waxy.
