Recommending Music Driven Games

I've created this group for the main purpose of using the curator feature on Steam. I am by no means a professional when it comes to writing nor game reviews, the aim here was to put up reviews so that people who enjoy music driven games can find the best ones, avoid the worse, but more importantly just find them in the first place!

I always found the tag system on Steam awful and found it hard to actually find more games of this genre so I thought I may as well collate what I did manage to find so that other people don't have to do so much digging.

If you're interested in just that, follow this group in the curator section!

This group will only focus on the games that have the feature to use your own music. There are a lot of games out there with the tag "music" but are essentially just rhythm games. Games will only be recommended here if they have the feature to input external music.

Suggestions are most than welcome, and I hope you find something you enjoy!

An Admittedly Shameless Self-Promotion

Hey all,

I started this group a few years ago, and I didn't really expect much from it but I do genuinely enjoy having this page and adding to it every now and then. It isn't perfect, but it was made with good intention to share games in a genre that I actually really enjoy and think is a bit of an underrated and niche genre.

I recently thought about what other genres of games I really enjoy, and actually what kind of games I enjoy writing reviews for. My main interest, psychology, is what immediately stood out to me. Reviews I have written which I would probably consider my best are usually games that have psychological themes.
I also enjoy games which veer on the side of philosophy, or have particularly thought-provoking intentions.

So, to get to the point, I recently decided to start up a new curator page Psychology, Philosophy & Thought

A Quick Celebration

Admittedly, I only check the group and curator page every now and then (not as often as I probably should). Recently, I acquired a new game to review and share on here (Crypt of the NecroDancer, yes, it is as funky as it sounds) and I noticed that our curator page now has a whopping 28 followers!

A Quick Thanks

I'm aware that it's not a lot, but none the less it's nice to see it grow. The last time I looked it was only around 7. I know not everyone that follows the curator page follows the group and vise versa, but I thought i'd put a thanks out there anyway!

I hope the group/curator page is proving useful to fans of the genre, and I hope it continues to grow.
