region lock in the family group

hi how are things. I would like to give a little feedback about the steam family group. It seems that you cannot lend games between other regions but the old steam family sharin allowed them to be shared among everyone. I am currently lending it to my friends from Mexico and Argentina (I am from Uruguay) and it won't let me share it again because they are not from the same region. I have been lending my games to my friends for 10 years with the old steam family sharing method, please change the region lock so I can lend them the games back.

My girlfriend is currently in Canada while in in another country, we are mostly in contact because of things like steam. Hell I even bought her a steam deck a while back and family sharing kinda made us closer

Extremely so. Family Sharing was good almost explicitly because of the fact you could use it over such long distances. Removing the ability to do that neuters it greatly

Agreed. I have family that I have been sharing with for years now that I no longer can share with.

Seems like a downgrade from the main branch, honestly, and now I can't even change back to the regular family share

You have to leave the new family group, opt back out of the beta and it should work.
