Steam NEEDS an anti-idle feature for games.

Many people will tab out and leave a game open for hours and accumulate many hours 'played' in a game. There needs to be a way to ensure the player is actually interacting with the game in order to properly count play time.

It's very necessary, not everyone wants to leave the game open and stopped and keep counting just to "show off" with more hours, it's a matter of being honest with yourself

That is just dumb, and not "everyone" shows off or even cares what others think of them by having as many hours as possible.

There are those of us that just like to do it like there are others that like to get every achievement possible while others don't, that doesn't mean we should take away or limit achievements because others can't handle it.

I don't care for this idea. Some games have odd saving mechanics and I have had to leave a game open before while I had other pressing matters come up while playing. If the game closed out automatically while I was out and the save point was rather far back, that would piss me off.

not to mention idea games that people play.
