Does Getting Kicked From A Group Result In Being Notified?

Yes I kicked a former friend from my group because he was behaving toxic to me so I'd like to know if he got my kick notification.

Trivia I guess, so far I know you only do not get notified when you get removed from a friendslist, but you do immediately see an icon disappear in Steam Friends.
When you remove a post, people don't get notified either It's only when you ban them or kick them out.

January 2024 confirmed you do not get notified. Tested it with a friend in a group i already owned just for fun. Booting him (he was admin) did not get notified
