I know we just had an update. Found this post so here I am to confer.
Ferris Bueller teacher: "Anyone.....? ....Anyone....?"
Now let´s hope this gets sorted out for us - perhaps it was a one-time-occurrence, and it´s gone in a couple of days (when the wrong playtime gets out of the 2-weeks-window).
Nope, definitely not fixed. Confirmed by Steam Support via ticket but they are aware. The problem you're describing with your fix is a Steam Cloud Sync issue, which is another different bug :)
I died a few times but not with a 4 hour distance between them.
idk, I think Steam is counting time faster.
At the very least it starts counting before the game is even launched and doesn't care if it is broken or not,
but this specific game, is a working RPG and to get to load your savegame from pressing Play on Steam, you need like 5 seconds, so... idk. I honestly don't know where the extra hours come from. 4 is a lot of time.
I recommend at least raising the tryout period, because especially with modern games, you maybe sitting for an hour or more just to get through the introduction cutscene (movie) and still need to complete the tutorial.
And pcs require load time. The two hour period doesn't make any sense.
Edit: I just checked a few games I played in the last two weeks. Somehow, with one particular game at least, the Last Two Weeks say I played it for 36 hours, and Steam, in the library says I played it 'in total' for 35 hours. So I noticed the Last Two Weeks measurement even goes beyond what you played a game in total, funny enough.
but anyway what I ment to say is that this thing may require more testing and perhaps an actual clock.
