Steam Big Picture overlay blank on Windows with AMD GPU in OGL rendered titles

If you run an AMD GPU with any recent driver, the Big Picture Overlay renders just plain white in most (if not all???) OpenGL rendered titles.

This is not restricted to the Steam Client Beta only, but also happens on the "stable-branch"

Games I've testes this with (I'm sure there are more)

- Binding of Isaac Rebirth
- Noita
- Darkest Dungeon
- Prison Architect

The issue, occurs on multiple systems, with different AMD GPUs (5700XT / RX580)
It is exclusive to the Big Picture Overlay
Exclusive to OpenGL rendered titles (as stated)

A temporary workaround is to stick to very outdated driver versions, that is far from ideal, however.

I doubt there will be a fix for the stable big picture from Vavle
