How do i install far mod?

So i tried the auto install but the options are all gray out and after the manual install I was somewhat able to get some of the stuffs working but im sure I didnt install it right. In the second picture I cant seem to change the branch also, it resets every time I quit the game.

The automated installer and auto-updater currently doesn't work since the GitHub repository it uses have temporarily been disabled. Please follow the FAR: Manual Installation of the below guide:

The automated installer should work now, by the way. Haven't heard a response in this thread yet, so I figured I'd put that out there.

hi, i myself am struggling to use maual installer as well. I follow the usual route, I usually wait about a minute or 2.

then "something went wrong trying to download installer DLL" message pops up

You could try the command mentioned in this comment. If that doesn't work then you have a manual way of installing the mod without the installer that is mentioned in the tweak guide above.

Edit: good advice that. i advise keeping this comment for others to "quick travel" to that area of the comment section

I am not sure I follow you. Is the issue solved for you or not? Reason I'm asking is because the below quote of yours IS NOT a part of a manual installation. It can only occur when trying to install FAR through the automatic installer.

hi, the Automatic process still does not work, even though I followed it step by step.

I did, however manage to get it working though the manual installation. apologies for the confusion

Okay, happy to hear that you got it working!

The automatic installer is a bit weird on occasions. Sometimes you need to hit Install twice and other times you need to run the following command in CMD/Run to clear Internet cache:

RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 4

But that's besides the point, I'm happy to hear that the manual instructions worked
