Achievement is not always detected.
This problem is probably not caused by Special K, because I have never had this problem with other games when using Special K. I guess it most likely the game itself that has problem with achievements system.

Anyway, just bought Nier, and has noticed that sometime Special K can detect Achievements, sometime it does not.

I tried using the latest version of FAR (0.7.0.23) from GitHub and a newer Special K 0.11.0.24. Both have this problem.

▲ This is what usually happen when I start the game; there is no Achievements menu in Special K. Playing the game in this state will not register any achievement I has earned in my account.

The only way for me to fix this is to exit and restart the game a random number of times until Achievements menu show up in Special K.

▲ This is when everything work properly; Special K will show Achievements sub-menu under Steam Enhancements.

I wonder if there a way to force Special K to always detect Achievements in this game?
And if this problem caused by the game itself, is there a function in Special K that I could use to fix this?

There are two things that should be happening, 1. an achievement count / progress and 2. "<xyz> Players in-Game on Steam". They're both related, the software is supposed to start up, request user statistics and then begin tracking achievement progress.

If you're not seeing this, I would highly recommend restarting the game and/or the Steam client until they show up. The game can actually revert achievement progress if it does not fetch these stats successfully at startup.

That's quite concerning...
I usually don't bother to check if achievement/user statistics is properly working before playing a game.

So far, NieR is the only game I've noticed that has this issue.
