Tries to open config menu, doesnt work.

when i try to open config menu, it doesn show up and mouse moves to the left upper corner and changes to config menu mouse for half a second then back to normal, yes CEGUI is on true in dinput8.ini and tried with nvidia stuff on and off. maybe someone that knows more would fare better than me.

Probably third-party software, the only thing I see is Ansel and NVIDIA ShadowPlay.

FAR is old enough that its menu system won't show up without CEGUI enabled. CEGUI doesn't draw the config menu but older versions of Special K would only enable ImGui if CEGUI was working. It's confusing, I'm sure :P

A newer version of Special K might work better. You can grab a newer version from here:

Delete (backup first) the current dinput8.dll, then take dxgi.dll from that and rename it to dinput8.dll.

Thank you, that fixed it, little bit of a mouse issues but fixed itself as son as i opened the config menu.

I am having the same issue, the only difference is that using the fix mentioned before, cause a whole bunch of additional problems, such as stutters, crashes, reshade not working, and the OSD not working. I tried closing all programs that might interfere. I am going to do a selective startup in case I missed something but, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, I was able to fix the issue in case anyone needs it this is what I did. Delete everything but the base game. Then install the latest far using skim. launch the game so it creates the config files. in skim migrate to the old branch. Launch the game the menu should now appear when you ctrl shift backspace. Then update to the latest version and then everything should work

Okay this driving me crazy now, It worked for a while then started crashing the game, so I redid everything and now it doesn't crash but it freezes every now and then. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
