True. But trying to explain that just muddies the water for end-users. It's far easier to just explain the setting out of the perceived effect it has on the game world, than try to explain the intricacies of the setting/hack itself.
Yaz, you keep asking this but I don't think anyone has ever heard of that issue. Is this reproducable? Have you booted the game up multiple times, played for a while, and noticed a huge ram spike at exactly the same play time? Are you always in the same area when it happens?
No the RAM go fine only the VRAM increase for no reason, no in the same area.
(Using a fresh SKIM downloaded from the link on top of this thread)
Any help is appreciated
The automatic installer currently doesn't work since GitHub have for unknown reasons disabled the Special K repository[github.com] which it relies on. Please follow the FAR: Manual Installation chapter of the below guide instead:

Oh ok it make sense, i didnt realized the GitHub Issue was affecting the auto installer, thanks for the heads up
Can i assume, im exempt of the alt-tab bug if i go borderless window with FAR?
Now we have to wait till Kal hears reply from GitHub why before even getting it back up and running.
At very least we can still manually install FAR if nothing else.
EDIT:
A bit off-topic does anyone know good recommendation for external sound card or something like that?
Probably the same people that spammed with useless and racist words the Special K main page.
While the auto-installer is nice, i dont mind to use the manual one, thanks god we have Kal that look like a calm and nice person. If it was me, i probably will have removed all my work from steam and just used it for myself.
There was even one guy (legit owner of game even) who made thread spreading that his mod is malware (while Kal was banned). I wouldn't even be suprised that he was one of people who reported given how many times he treaten that he gonne send emails reporting him. Guy knows jack shit about anything but gets trigger over even small things and over exaggerate.
He demanded that he removes part of code that checks if you legit or not, but thing is that same thing also checks if changes were made like game update. If were not for that game would crashed on that game update instead just disabling features not compatible with new update.
Possibly? I'm not sure as I aren't fully in the know regarding what actually triggers the bug. I know that I've had the ALT+Tab bug on occasions when I played in windowed mode, but that was quite some time ago and I dunno if FAR solves it or not.
Yeah, I copy/pasted that section from my guide, where I sorta don't want to start drama which is why it's quite neutral and doesn't lay the blame on anyone yet. We can guess, but as long as we await further information that's fine by me.
A big one? ASUS Xonar U7, though ASUS lack of support is ridiculous. I'm using Win 8.1 drivers on Win 10 since the actual Win 10 drivers are gimped and broken.
A small one? Dunno. I have ASUS Xonar U3 myself and it works with the generic Microsoft drivers, and fits in my pocket, but otherwise I really hate everything about it.
Also I'd like to ask do you know how to find the values for the camera height. I've tried searching for the camera values that FAR shows but I can't find any of them.
Normally the camera focus point is on the player character's head, and i'd like it to be around waist height because the character will be more in view.
ALready posted this in the guide section but was told to post it here.
What version of the software are you using? It sounds like you are triggering the safe-guard against the 4/28 patch, instead of crashing the game it just detects that those memory addresses aren't valid and prevents you from writing stuff to them. Completely malicious if you would believe pirates, lol.
0.5.6.5 (I think) was the first version that corrected all of the memory addresses. I did some groundwork to detect those addresses dynamically if the game is patched again in the future, but didn't have a chance to finish it before stupid pirates ruined everything :-\
