Problem SpecialK Iceborne: Unable to load Special K Debug Symbols

Hey Kaldaien, first off thanks for what you do, it is greatly appreciated! I have been using SpecialK for over a year with MHW and it really improved my framerate.

Now here comes Iceborne and what do you know, the performance are awful. I now have to pretend to quit the game to open a small window and use a CRC Bypass to not have my CPU commit seppuku. So I see that you updated SpecialK and then proceed to install the VC runtime and extract the DX11 version of the zip file in the MHW folder. I launch the game but I get a black screen.

I checked and there is no SpecialK64.pdb, was there supposed to be one?
If anyone can help or if I need to post something else I would really like to know.
I am on Windows7 if that's the issue.

You may ignore this, I have opted to not ship the debug symbols since the game has so many layers of anti-debug in it that my crash handler doesn't even work past the initial loading screen.

I see, Capcom really has put a ton of stuff that doesn't even block cheaters, just ruin the performance of the people that want to play, it's a damn shame.

You say to ignore it but do you mean to skip it? Is this why I have a black screen? I don't really know what to do to make it work. When I check the task manager, the memory of the game is stuck at ~70000. I made sure that it was all default by removing everything except the chunk folder in MHW, downloading them again, and then extracting SpecialK but still a black screen.


Edit: I ended up upgrading my OS and it's now working. Thanks you all!
