I notice that the global injector selected d3d9.dll but if I use that for the local wrapper filename it doesn't work.
If someone does find a way to get Special K to work with this game and is able to mod it to higher resolutions, please post here and let me know.
A lot of compatibility work has gone into Special K since 0.10.x, you might have better luck using the Steam beta version:
I do have SpecialK working with no significant issues on another game (God Wars - The Complete Legend) and no MinHook errors there. In that case, your mod gave the game basically flawless 4k support that it didn't have for which I am quite grateful since it looks very nice.
I did return the Utawarerumono games. I don't want to play them at 720p. How any company can justify selling bikini DLC at 720p on a pc port is beyond me.
There are still errors being thrown but the mod seems to function regardless.
Unfortunately, the resolution override that Special K uses doesn't seem to be where they are controlling the internal render resolution. So much for an easy fix.
