Run a scene between 2 NPCs, on a loop on the CK Skyrim?
Hello everyone,

I created a scene between Mikael and Saadia, and I would like every 2 hours in game, the same scene starts again.

I've tried everything, but I can't.

Could someone give me an answer please? Because there, I despair.

Thanks in advance.

Why the heck do you want that? Many scenes in cities and towns are already quite boring and irritating. Every 2 ingame hours would mean every 6 minutes real time. I would probably never visit the Bannered Mare again!

Maybe add Quest Dialogue Conditions in the Quest Data tab?

I found a way to loop my scene!
In my scene, I had to check the “Repeat while true” box.
In game, the scene starts and loops.
Only, I would like my scene to play in a loop, but every 2 hours in game.
How to do it please?
Thanks in advance.

Take a look at the Story Manager Actor Dialogue Event.

I took a look at them, and they are all set to "24 hours".
This doesn't tell me how to put it every 2 hours as I would like to do.

Yes, but you can set your own properties and conditions by adding a new stacked/random node: Branch node -> Quest node -> Quest.

Altbert, I did that. But what else should I do, so that every 2 hours in game, my scene runs in a loop please?
Right now, as soon as the scene ends, it immediately starts again.
I would like the 2 hour space in game.

Check a quest with a 24 hour time frame in the Story Manager. Does an underlying quest have the "Repeat while true" checkbox marked? Have you set the proper conditions and properties? You can set the time frame to any value you want. No conditions and "Repeat ..." will always be true. Study, learn and experiment!!

Still think a 2 hour time frame is rediculous, as it will repeat itself every 6 minutes real time with the default timescale. Many quests are configured with a 24 hour time frame so that the player only experiences a scene once per day, at least if the player visits that particular location or cell.

Last question Altbert and then I won't bother you anymore, and how can I make my scene loop every 1 minute in real time please?

I don't know what it's worth in game 1 minute in real time?

In any case, in my scene, I checked the "repeat while true" box and in "SM Event Node" I left it at 24 hours.

That depends on the timescale setting, which by default is 20. So 1 minute in game equals 20 minutes in real time. So, 1 minute game time equals 60 sec / 20 = 3 sec. With a timescale setting of 10 it will be 60 sec / 10 = 6 sec. If you don't know the setting look for the TimeScale value in Global in the Object Window.

But ... why in the world would you want a scene to loop every few seconds???

So where do I put what you tell me?

Because I look in "global" and TimeScale and see it's set to 20.
But then I'm lost.

I already gave you some hints! Experiment with "Repeat while true" (check or uncheck). Create a new Story Manager Branch node, under the Branche node a Quest node and under the Quest node your Quest. Experiment with Stacked and Random. Experiment with the time frame of your quest (24 hrs, more or less) and experiment with the conditions.
