I mean, you can find plenty of legit game devs that spent years, sweating blood and tears to make their game, just to get completely unnoticed on launch day because of the swarming of fake games releasing each day.

This is just nuts that this obvious scam is still up. This is insane.

I also got a community wide ban because I got multiple bans from Head Shark the same day two weeks ago.

Thankfully, after contacting the Steam Supportto explain the situation they considered the community wide ban to not be justified, so they removed it. Now, I'm still unimpressed this Dev is still up an running. I know asset flips aren't technically illegal, but this goes far beyond a simple asset flip.

Dang, I remember running across that dude's so-called "games" earlier this month because the notifications for them flooded IsThereAnyDeal's new and historical low sections for hours. I wrote him off as another asset flipper and muted his games, but had no idea some of them were stolen from Itch.io devs. Talk about low.

And he used a wallpaper of God of War as "screenshot" on the Axe Slasher page.
Maybe Steam should implement some of that AI moderation on its store page instead of on the community pages...

He even pirated the screenshots for the coverup version of Mansion Mayhem . Dev just took the screenshots from https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Zakn68 and cropped off the watermark at the bottom.

No game ban though?

I think Gabe is benevolent as far as CEOs go. I watch his interviews and read what he says from time to time and he doesn't resemble an automaton yet. Valve's future without him, on the other hand, seems dark. This inaction I address to the usual corporate lethargic inertness. They're all the same immovable hulks when they reach a certain mass, so it takes tons of pebbles to attract their attention.

It's definitely wild that the dude is allowed to continue mostly unabated by Valve. Valve's refusal to take a stand on almost anything that doesn't directly impact their pocketbook is a continual source of disappointment. I guess Gaben has to pay for his super yacht addiction somehow.
