Removed and At Risk Game, DLC, and Software Discussion

As stated here, after years of having multiple threads for the same purpose divided by membership status, I've decided to combine all of the major threads related to removed content discussions into one thread available to everyone. While no information is actually hidden from non-members, having different posts with the same information or having people posting only in one place or another can cause problems for people who rely on the posts made here for help.

This thread will replace the current public and removed game information section threads related to removed game, dlc, and software information, creating one location for all (or at least most) of the information anyone interested in the purpose of the group will want or need. Some threads will still exist alongside this one, and this still won't be the place to post group related or general off-topic questions, but will be an important resource for anyone interested in removed and at risk content overall.

I should also note that because this will focus the discussion, it will be much more highly moderated to avoid spam.

At least one of the four Black Desert apps (the one for Middle East, South Africa, Turkey, Ukraine/CIS, SEA minus TW & HK) will be folded into the main one. This might well be a EFLC-style removal of 836620 from all packages in the long run.

They could still regionally segregate with depots, like World of Tanks does it[steamdb.info], or just have a launcher server choice.

Unless those do something malicious to the software they're meant for, I doubt they get removed. None of them are trying to pass themselves as the respective software.

EA planning to remove Ultima Underworld 1+2, Syndicate Plus and Syndicate Wars from GOG as of June 28th. I don’t know about Syndicate, but you can’t buy Ultima Underworld anywhere else.

The Ultima Underworld titles are actually available on Origin. The original Sydicate is there as well, though it doesn't seem to be the Plus version, so it may be missing the expansion. Syndicate Wars, however, isn't available anywhere besides GoG at present.

This is the stolen version from Nacom, expect it being pulled again as soon Frogwares gets its indiction.

My guess we should ask [e-mail] for confirmation, if it is the legit version, but I doubt it.

If you look at https://frogwares.com/how-nacon-cracked-and-pirated-the-sinking-city/ you will see that the illegal version was released on Februrary 26 2021. Comparing it to the sub history (https://steamdb.info/sub/220275/history/), it also matches.

My guess is that Nacon tries to make a quick buck for their ongoing court case during summer sale and will be pulled shortly afterwards.

Don't buy it, if you don't want to feed the pirating publisher Nacon.
