Another ark guy here, just curious about the server

server has been down for 24hrs wondering if its going to go back up?

What happened to the Ark server? Why you leave us all high and dry? I hope things are alright.

If someone attacks a base with any siege weapon, that doesn't have a banner. It's breaking the rules. Which admin said using a ballistas isn't consider as a sieging?

So to my understanding of this the issue is completely obliterating someones base not what tools you use to do it, but by definition of removing someones hard work completely.

So ultimately i'm wondering if my brother and I will be unbanned. Because the way i see it, there was an instant ban, without warning, for something that could have been stopped with words. Especially when the rules are unclear. Otherwise i honestly feel the need to inform others about the amount of time i wasted on a server with a abusive admin that punishes people on a personal level.

To start this off, I was instantly banned without any kind of warning for starting to treb (nothing was destroyed). The base was extremely tall and a banner ontop couldn't possibly be seen. Not only that but this is the base of enemies who sieged my base with a ballista. When confronting the admin he said "ballistas arent considered sieging" even though there is no clear definition stating that a ballista is not. Nor is there clear rules saying that trebs are not.

Since to my understanding a sieging tool from the SIEGE WORKS was used to get into my base, that rules was about the damage done to a base, not what weapon was used to do so. (trebbing a base to get inside and destroying 7-10 blocks is EASILY replacable)

also, if it helps I redownloaded the files and checked the integrity and it checks out.

Hey, so I was just banned from the server for having a mismatched .dll I just verified my game cache and apparently I had two files that had failed to download during the last update. I was wanting to know if I could get the ban lifted. If it's not obvious I go by Sir Gary of Indiana in game.

how do i... text? like in a chat? I've looked at the control map in-game multiple times, and I still haven't figured it out! I am "Kaghan" by the way.

Server fresh for Alpha 8!

Most of us are still here Lugnar :) It's been up to 20 people on at a time just not at this time of day (It's 3am here). Usually the activity is biggest around 5pm-11pm CST.

Has everyone migrated elsewhere, or is this server still active? I think the highest player count I've seen lately has been 6 or 7. Loved RPing with you folks, so I'm hoping this place isn't dying down.

You can always find this group by typing in "forgotten". The server name is too short to allow the admins to put the group info in there. They already tried. :(

Server name seems to have changed in the listing... Also, might benefit us to mension this group in the server name?

We only wipe on patches that call for wipes.

Welcome Kraken! We like chillin with you guys too. :) Thanks for joining the group and playing on the server. We urge you folks to use the group for any questions or ideas you might have! We want to fine tune the rules here so everyone has a good experiance, and as this is new for us and you guys, we really need your feedback to sort it all out.
