Hey there everyone. So happy to see this community still alive in some way shape or form. I had no idea about the community patch for the game! I'll definitely be installing that. My handle changed many years ago, but to those who were there back in the day, you all knew me as Dr. Foxy. I almost messed up my degree working on that community map pack with DI-smover and LordKiller, and knowing those maps still get play time... well... it's pretty freaking cool.

Yeah, very busy. When you're a 30y boomer life tends to get in a way of gaming quite often.

Hello, and welcome to the group! Follow the event notices (visible in the Steam Community feed for example) from this group. We play usually on saturday evenings.

If there isn't an event scheduled then I'm not there to organize it but you can ask people from this group to play with you. Please feel free to make a thread on forum or ask anyone if you have questions or want to talk about the game. If you're stuck we can help you with that, explain some common strategies and also give tips and tricks.

Very nice work on the patches so far. Dathmatch is a murderfest for sure, but it's hella fun.

I'm in the beta and because of the NDA I cannot make comments regarding the game itself. Still allow me to mention; that based on the public trailer material, I don't like QC very much. They've taken and transformed a game known as "chess" into a different game, "draughts", but still talk about it as if it was the "chess".

Lets try to make a Daikatana match happen next weekend. I'm probably free then.

Sorry to let you down but I didn't arrange event for tonight. Today I've been first at work and then studied rest of the evening discrete mathematics for upcoming test. I hope to arrange event next saturday. Please, follow the event schedule tab.

I will always put up a event notification when there is an event. It's just unfortunate that I already had premade the schedule for this weekend. My apologies.

Events usually start at either 18.00 (GTM+2) or 20.00 (GMT+2) on saturday evenings which I think is an early saturday morning for people from the America. Lately we've been starting at 20.00 so that Americans can join without waking up really early. We keep going usually as long as there are people but usually at least 2-4 hours.

It's Sunday 01.10 AM here right now.

Sure. Welcome to the group. If you have any questions, please post them to forum. Like if you need help with the patch 1.3, want to talk about the lore or want gameplay tips. We usually have match saturday evenings but also every now and then.

I usually post event date and time well before the events take place so follow your Steam Community Feed. It automatically converts time to your timezone.

If you have trouble with the time then inform me and we'll think of earlier/later time for an event or make a specific event for e.g. people from American continent. I believe most of us are from Europe in this group and that's why we usually have time 18.00 (GMT+2) or 20.00 (GTM+2). But that can be adjusted.

Damn... I honestly didn't know/realize how much support this game has, even after all these years...
