[REQ]Decompiling error.
I am not sure if I'm doing something wrong but everytime when I try to decompile a .MDL file it seems to always say: Decompiling ".\fed_astronaut.mdl" ...
File does not have expected MDL header ID (first 4 bytes of file) of 'IDST' or 'MDLZ' (without quotes). MDL file is not a GoldSource- or Source-engine MDL file.
... Decompiling ".\fed_astronaut.mdl" FAILED.
Help?

Uhm, which one? The Loki or Odin Astronaut?? Or Both? The reason why I ask is that the Loki has an Odin dependency.

The mdl files in both decompiled fine for me, what version of Crowbar are you using and do you have these kind of settings selected?

This happens a lot for people that are trying to decompile a Garry's Mod model. Probably used a GMA unpacker tool that fails to unpack properly. For the last modder I helped, he simply waited longer between unpacking and decompiling. I also suggest using Crowbar's Unpack tab for unpacking the GMA file.

Also, in case you are following an old tutorial that uses MDL Decompiler, do *not* modify the MDL file at all before decompiling with Crowbar.
