invalid input while processing $lod

I am trying to compile a smd file to sml but I get the error: invalid input while processing $lod

Does someone have any idea how to fix this?

Is that your entire QC? It looks like half of it is missing. Is this from a decompiled model?

Yes this is from a decompiled model.

Based on the error messages, I am guessing there is not a final line with the word "end" (without quotes) in the "pc_male_sheriff_head_pc_male_shadow_head_lod1.smd" file. Compare with the "pc_male_sheriff_head_pc_male_shadow_head.smd" file.

I have checked the pc_male_sheriff_head_pc_male_shadow_head_lod1 and it has end in the final line.

Check line 3113, as the error indicates. Perhaps the section before that line does not have an "end" line.

I checked the uploaded files. The QC file is incomplete.

Weird this is the only thing I get when I decompile the sml file.
I also uploaded the unedited mdl file.
Also when I decompile and compile the unedited smd file it gives the same error.

From where did you get the model files?

Uploading just the MDL file is useless. You should zip all of the model files together (MDL, VTX, VVD and possibly ANI and PHY).

After noticing your first post showing Vindictus, I found the same-named model in my extracted Vindictus models folder and decompiled that one. Mine shows a full QC file with no LOD commands.

I already fixed it by using crowbar version 0.44
For some reason the newest version doesnt give me a full QC file while 0.44 does.
